ABOUT

American Drift Challenge. ADC. We can only watch the wrong approach taken in drifting so much before we jump in head first to solve it. I am personally in a position to facilitate this now and we’ve got the best people in drifting on our side (you guys). I think drifting is as interesting as the biggest Motorsports like F1 / NASCAR. We're just going about it wrong. I think it should have a HUGE streaming service level show and top drivers should have massive fan followings and great income from it.

Just take top level build aesthetic, 400-600 hp criteria, same exact tire, and put it real race tracks / street course. Now take interesting and fun announcing, by actual drivers, throw some surprises and skits throughout the show. That’s what will get the drifting massive fan base, major streams, and high level respect.
That’s what we’re doing here.

Drifting competition has lost its edge. The tracks feel repetitive. The builds rarely quality and style. Judging is constantly disputed. Power numbers have escalated into overkill, leaving us in a world dominated by LS and JZ swaps. Incredible engines — but we miss the other guys. Screaming SR’s, H6’s…take us back!

Somewhere along the way, we forgot something: if drifting is going to become the Mecca we know it can be, Style and Function need equal emphasis. Iconic builds, legacy, and massive fan bases are built on quality, pride, and showmanship. NASCAR. F1. IMSA. The liveries matter. The drivers matter. The spectacle matters. This will be a major focus of American Drift Challenge.

Pro drifting has become a rich man’s game. $50k on engine and drivetrain and that’s just 25% of the build. Then a $100k+ season just to attract sponsors. What about the SKILL and entertainment without $200k upfront? While it’s still a pricey hobby, we feel PRO high level drifting should be within reach.

Being on the back end of a product based company, we see thousands of incredible builds and drivers you’ve never heard of. No major following — just passion. What if the hometown hero could line up against the pros and the YouTube creators?
What if America’s best drifter is undiscovered?

There is often obsession and hyper focus on Japan and other countries drifting too, while we all love to visit and of course appreciate…we have to make American drifting something incredible that everyone else can envy. We have incredible race tracks here too…let’s focus more to improve what we have.

Let’s not forget the drivers themselves. Who is helping them develop into professionals and personalities? Where is the chatter about how hard they worked to drive and how they got there?
What pays the bills is the entertainment, the fans, the supporters.

What if a group of existing drivers and organizers who burn with passion for drifting were able to facilitate this in a way that embraced the modern world...not a pro-am series...
a PRO LEVEL series...

Just drifting.
Great announcing from active drivers.
Judges who are still active drivers and explain their decisions.
Cinematic shots. Edited to remove dead time.
Equal parts entertainment and true fair competition.
